Hey guys, I recently purchased a 120GB HDD for my 360 off of eBay. The hard drive came in the enclosure, already formatted, and only with the single microsoft transfer cable. No software was included, so I've been attempting this transfer with Xport360 and Xplorer360 Xtreme2. Here's what I've done thus far. I've connected my 20GB hdd to my pc, and copied the "Content" folder. After that, I connect my 120GB to my xbox, formatted using my console ID, and then proceeded to connect to my pc. When connected with my 120GB to my pc for the first time, partition 3 shows, but only a cache folder is visible. No content folder. I proceeded to transfer the content folder from my PC to partition 3 of my new hdd. When I plug it in, however, it doesn't recognized my profile or game saves. The only thing it does see, out of the 9 gigs I threw in there, are the Halo map packs. I've searched through google and several forums with no results. I'm hoping someone here can tell me what I'm doing wrong. Should I try and recover my gamertag on my new hdd before transferring the content folder over?
Ugh, sorry for replying to my own post, but I can't find the edit button. I know...I suck. =P Anyways, I forgot to mention that I'm using Windows 7 with UAC completely turned off.
