@wabash i think he means where to put them on a mu (memory unit)
They go into the cache folder on hdd's and usb sticks so i'm guessing it will be the same on a mu.

Thanks for your replies guys but i am still stuck,so this cache folder is code named what,coz the folders i saw have -0ffe07 or something-as folder names inside the mu

Well with the usb memory device i just created a folder called cache in the root of the device.

its not too clear man.so you created that folder on your normal usb and it just worked?!.i am stil waiting for the new xbr so i cant use any other usb.was it under content folder?

ok thanks.i think i am gonna stick with xbr for a while till freeboot is updated to the point where we can use a usb to flash,i messed up my jtag solder plus pulled out some copper from the board when removing wires.it nearly killed my board
