What exactly have they done to the hard drive functionality with this ban wave? I know that I can't install games anymore but what I'm wondering is what happens when put on an un-modded xbox. I've heard it corrupts the profile or something? A quick explanation would be awesome.

Also, did microsoft ever follow through with the disabling of third party hard drives? If so what exactly did they do? Disable those japanese hard drives or whatever they were? Or did they disable the home made hard drives?

I just tried using tversity on my xbox and it can't detect my PC all of the sudden. None of my settings have been changed. Did M$ also make tversity unusable on banned consoles somehow?

If your profile becomes corrupt all you have to do is recover it.

Don't know if they have blocked 3rd party HDD yet.

My 360 is banned and I use TVersity perfectly fine.

Was it banned in this most recent wave?
My xbox won't even detect my computer on the network but just a few days ago tversity was working fine. I tried pinging my xbox's IP from my computer and it timed out.

Sometimes I have to unplug to reset my router for it to work at times. Sometimes I have to restart sharing. You can do this by right clicking on the TVersity icon on your notification bar and click on restart sharing.

I got it working again.

I had installed the that Leaf networks program the other day and it turns out that was the problem. If this has happened to anyone else make sure your Local Area Connection is accessed first in your network connections. You can check by going to advanced options.
