Hi. I have an Xbox 360 Elite that I gave for modding in Al Ain Centre, Bur Dubai in August of last year. (there' a stall in the front). The mod has worked fine and I have had no trouble with it. But I wish to play online. But I am afraid if the console will be bricked. I asked the guy if it is safe to connect online. He replied that some people have tried and it has worked for them, but if i do try and it fails, then he is not responsible. I would really like some assurance from some people who have tried it 'cos I would feel confident to give it a go.....

Your xbox will not be bricked, it would probably be banned from live though but it will still function as normal, you just won't be able to play online.
If you want to use live then i would suggest getting it flashed to LT 1:1 if you have a benq or liteon drive, if it's hitachi then you're stuck at 1.51 (not safe for live) and the latest one for samsung is 1.61 (not safe for live)
