I've been using XBOX BackUp Creator to backup my games; to be honest, this is my first time backing-up, I flashed my 360 for the first time 3 weeks ago. I have a Benq VAD6038, connected to my computer (under XP) with a PCI SATA VIA 6421 card.
My first back-up went just fine, the only problem is that I had to use the half-opened dvd player method at the computer boot to make it appear in Windows and obviously, in Xbox BackUp Creator.
The real problem started at the second backup : it is now impossible to backup games as the "Start" Button in the "Read" part is grey and therefore unclickable. The only message is an obscure : "This is not a true 1 to 1 copy of the image".
I tried plugging and unplugging the dvd player, rebooting, updating to iXtreme 1.61, but nothing works. From time to time, I have the following message when inserting a disc :
Does this evoke anything to anyone ? Google isn´t very helpful for this...
So, does anyone have an idea of what the problem could be ? I tried connecting the drive on another port of the pci card, tried to flash the drive to xtreme 1.6 0800 but none of this changed anything.
When I try to unlock the drive under Xbox BackUp Creator, it says :
Getting media info [D]
Media Type: DVD-ROM Bytes Used: 4,00 TB (4.398.046.511.104 bytes)
So even when I try to extract the image under ImgBurn, that 4 TB capacity makes it impossible to copy on my harddrive...
