Hello good people.

I have been doing a lot of reading of this fine form yet i can seem to get a burnt game to work. I have followed the tutorial of how to burn. When i load the game it either goes to the green 360 page and sits there or it thinks it is a dvd and i have the dvd menu options?

Unfortunately i bought the xbox from someone who does not know the mod specifications. Is there a way i can look and find out?

If not is it possible that i am trying to burn games that are "too new" for the mod i am currently running. I was given nhl 09 burnt. It works fine. I downloaded mlb 10. I have not been able to get it to work yet.

Any insight or suggestions is welcomed.

ok firstly it is possable that the firmware is a little old and isn't reconising the new waves
nhl09 is a wave 2 game and you say you get the xbox 360 screen this would suggest it doesn't reconise the new wave therfore wont boot you need to update the firmware lt plus
as its the latest you could mess around patchin the games but i personally think its much easier to update the fw

i will have to do a lot of reading to be able to do a FW update.

you say nhl09 is a wave 2 game. Other games that do work is deadspace and GTA4. Does that fit the pattern of wave 2 games? Is there a list on the internet that has the different wave categories and games?

both these games are wave 2 yes and might i suggest dl jf and open up go to the link for user guide its a brilliant and straight forward guide any of us here are ready to help in anyway be sure to research first though as tutorials cover everthing if you cant find answers through search then post away

sorry missed the last question i use abgx360.net go to verified and you can search all games it will show you all the info yu need
give us a shout back if we can help with anything else
