yes, I can witness the warm welcome that I had on this board by people whom you expect wisdom and knowledge from, not insulting and cynical remarks that goes trough your skin. I have been around on the internet for seven years now and the difference between persons who are offering help and people who love and main hobby is to trash become scary slimmer ..

Sure, some people are just dicks for no reason other than they are fat nerds who get off on treating people like trash. Either that, or they are just young kids who are really immature. However, those people are definitely in the minority.
^^^^ So very true. ^^^^
Also, anyone, who visits any type of forum at all should have sense enough to read the sticky posts. These answer 99% of all the questions a noob could have.
And me typing "read this sticky" or "read that sticky" is a hell of a lot easier than typing out detailed instructions time and time again, and yet accomplishes the same thing (answering the noob's question in detail). It's also for people like "fukuall" who says he googled, and it brought him here (bypassing the stickies). That's when I point them to the stickies. My words are usually politely typed "Read the 'Ultimate Sticky', everything you need is in there". Some noobs even take that as rudeness, arrogance, harshness, etc, but it's not, it's simply pointing one where one needs to go.
If I do decide to be a little cynical with my posts, it's AFTER the initial post has been answered.
My cynical post (#5), replying to wabash's cynical post (#3), after the initial post (um, I think it was #1) was answered legitimately by leerage's post (#2). By the way, guesswho laughed in his post (#4).
