hi, i recently updated my banned console by usb which was supposed to uncripple my hdd, (which it did for the first night) now when i put the hdd back on my unmodded console my profile is corrupt and says cannot save to this device, make sure it is inserted correctly or free up some space but there is still 14.3gigs left. This is when i try to recover my gamertag, so now i cant even get onto my live account, anyone know what has happened and how to solve this problem, have thought of formatting my hdd but if i do that i will lose all of my gamesaves and maps i have dl'ed for some games!!Thanks

The HDD functionality is back but you will continue to set all the data for corruption when you go back and forth from the banned to the non-banned. You might have to delete the profile (items only option) and then try to recover it.

To keep the corruption from happening, you'll need to dump the NAND of your 360 and restore an old secdata. M$ was nice enough to fix the HDD functionality for everybody but no way would they fix the corruption.

thanks matey, deleting my profile( items only) worked, will leave hdd on my unmodded console i think, will just use memorycard on my banned console, thanks again :)
