i have here banned xbox 360 , i wanted to play Dante's Inferno but it says i have to update the game . when when i try udate it doesnt update it just reboots and nathink happens . my 360 has 1,6 firmware . oh i forgot tel that i have patched the game in to wave 3 , my 360 also has the latest dashboard . so i dont know what to do so please guys help me

Probably because you patched it to wave 3 is why. What type of drive do you have?
if you can get IX 1.61 or LT on there you wouldnt have to be patching to different waves

ok thanks for replying , i have liteon firmware 1.6 , so the game is wave4 , and as i know i cant play wave 4 with firmware 1.6 , that is why i patched .

Why not just go to nonstealthed firmware since you're banned and never worry about patching again?

u dont get it mate . the problem is not the stealth think. í cant get the game update i think it doesnt matter if i use old firmware or newst so please read it my massage again

If you didn't have to patch the game you wouldn't have the issue, thus the firmware is probably your best solution. Otherwise you'll spend the rest of your life updating firmware when a new wave comes out, or patching games.

That part I'm not 100% sure on. You may just be able to burn it to a disc.
If that doesn't work you can use a program like Xplorer360 and connect your HDD to your PC either with a connectivity kit or by taking your HDD out of the casing and connecting it via SATA though this voids the warranty on your HDD I wouldn't sweat it because all it is, is a standard 5400RPM laptop HDD.
I know with jtagged boxes running custom dashboards like Freestyle or XeXMenu you can FTP stuff.
In any case if installing with a disc doesn't work, The updates go in the cache folder on your drive.

i better than install the nonstealth firmware , that way will be easy for me .
i have now 1.6 firmware, if i want to flash it again the nonsteatlth firmware wich one is that ?

That depends on your drive, just do a Google search, for example, the Benq's is ixtreme 1.4

There is also a 1.6 non stealth firmware, also if you can just flash to LT that way waves will never be a problem again ;)

Yeah, i't supposed to be almost identical to the original firmware, it has no stealth thats why you need to make sure the games are stealth patched properly before going online.

I don't believe it's identical. I believe it's close but when you mod something there's always going to a chance of getting banned.

I never said it was identical lol, i said almost :P
@ ziir, the reason it won't update is because when you wave patch a game you're actually removing the update, that is why it won't update.
The update you most likely need can be found here http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/system...stemupdates.htm
You can also rip the update from the untouched iso by opening the iso and simply copying and pasting it to a usb stick, again this must be ripped from an untouched iso.
