Hi everyone, I got a question and need a little help.
I have done several jtag 360s myself, and update them all to 12611, except one. This is a brand new Falcon I bought 2 months ago. When I got this falcon, it was, for some reason, hard to get the jtag working, due to bad blocks ( I assume thats where my problem was), but I got it running 9199,and running great. The problem is that i dont recall what i had to do to make it work, and now that I am trying to update to 12611, it will not work. No matter if i build it manually, or if i use a program to auto build, i get one of 2 things... I either get a box that wont boot but flashes the green light in the center of the ring, or I get a xbox that starts to boot, but then errors out during the boot screen (the swirling xbox logo on new dash start up), then an e71. I have made the images from original dumps, xbr, and freeboot images, all with the same 2 results above. I have left the blocks alone, manually remapped the bad blocks, and used the programs to auto fix, same 2 results. I flash it back to 9199, and all is well. I am at wits end on this one. Anybody have any ideas?
