updating liteon firmware help

i have a modded xbox already which firmware i dont know, i got it done by a guy paying him good amount of money, however i know its not the latest firmware cause now it doesnt play any of the new games..

i could pay the guy and get him to update it and the many other times there is an update.. so i thought i will give it a try myself save some money.. =D already bought the PCI SATA card

so far what i had read on the internet for liteon dvd drives is that i am going to need to buy a KEY-GRABBER and do the key dumping stuff..
so heres my question, since the dvd drive was already once flashed with a custom firmware do i need to do those key dumping steps again or not...
if not can someone point me into the right direction on how to update the firmware thanks..

You need to find out what firmware revision of LiteOn you have. Since it is already flashed, you don't have to buy a "key grabber". You can get all the info via Jungle Flasher.

oh just to add.. my xbox is banned =(
so for me to play the latest games wave3 or 4.. (i am totally confused with this stuff.. all i used to do is download games burn and play)
do i have to burn games in a certain way.
can since i have the lite drive .. can i install the latest firmware xtreame LT.. any specific steps i should take since i am banned..

i have been able to dectect my dvd drive on the computer
and the firmware revision is 7485
