i dont think thats correct ... it writes to the firmware of the WD drive... which isn't just as simple as hex editing some of the sectors on the disk...
if it was easy to do with all kinds of other drives people would have developed the software for it by now ....
Well, I took my stock 360 drive down to nothing, literally. It was all 0's. Then I inserted the HDDSS.bin data into the correct sectors, formatted it with the xbox, then played. It worked, and is still working fine.
well, just go and get you a big old drive and to a little hex editing yourself and if it works ill be downloading your program from xbins in the near future!...lol
