Hi Guys, Im new here but have a major issue I hope you can help me with.

Before writing this, I have done some research and see that the console is the only thing that gets banned not the hardrive.

BUT...

The reason I got banned from xbox live is because I played a pre-release game. I have saves and achievement information of that game on the harddrive. I'm scared that putting that hardrive (from the banned xbox) into a new un-banned one, will result in the new one getting banned as well. As it has the pre-release saves on it?

I would really appreciate help, cheers.

Assuming you took it online and got it officially banned. Your banned console will corrupt all the saves and profiles on the hd. They will play fine on the banned console but will show as corrupt on the unbanned one.

The good news it that they will not get your new console banned.

You can un-corrupt all the game saves at the same time with consaver. Download it here link

For the profiles, you need to resign them with modio after you un-corrupt them.

To get the files from your 360HD to your pc you need a transfer cable and the program 360xplorer OR you can use a thumb drive and the program xtafgui.

*Basically you just take the content folder and un-corrupt all its contents (if you choose to do it this way delete your installed games first, they wont play on your other xbox anyway.)

**If you don't want to un-corrupt the whole drive the easiest way is to just move the save/profile you want over to a thumb drive and use xtafgui to get them on your pc.

it doest corrupt the save games, at least mine didn't. it just corrupt the profile. and if you cant load your profile the game saves DONT WORK.
