Using IXtreme: Will original game disc played on LIVE be banned?

I am planning on installing IXtreme 1.61 on my drive. I have original game discs for some games that I play online, if I go online with these will I get banned? Is there a way to block getting banned? I know of ABGX360, but that's only for burned disc, and I'm not exactly sure what it does, or that Stealth check thing. Whatever, anyway. If I can't play on LIVE, I'm not going to use IXtreme.

Why take the chance of running iXtreme firmware online when you are playing original discs? Just flash stock firmware.

Plus, it is highly recommended to not use iXtreme 1.x firmware online. You should use iXtreme LT.

I will use IXtreme LT now. I want to play my backup games. And I want to play my original game discs online. BUT, can they detect IXtreme LT when playing an original game disc online?

It is way to early to be asking if it is detectable or not. iXtreme LT is said to be as "stock" as it can get with the capability of playing backups.

Again, everybody is asking these questions of whether it is detectable or not. Nobody knows for sure. It is a risk you take and you need to accept what ever repercussions you are dealt.

geohot(the 1st person to hack the iphone)said on his twitter page that he hacked it but didnt give much info.

Geohot rules! ^o^ He doesn't do any of this "exploit the end-user" bullcrap, unlike certain people in the xbox scene! >.< I'm gonna be keeping an eye on his twitter page abit more now and see how this whole PS3 hacking works out! ^o^
