Hi, Wonder if anyone can help i have a liteon 93450c drive it has been flashed before , but tryed it online yesterday and it has had the firmware knocked out of it by microsoft , i have been trying to flash it again but cant get it in to vender mode dots keep going ..... then comes up failed , i haven't got the files as had it done by someone a while ago and cant get intouch with them.

how are you trying to get this drive into vendor mode? have you ever done it before, seems to me you doing it completely wrong. you need some kind of probe or hardware to read liteon, so what are you doing exactly?
im using jungleflasher need it flashed again as when i done update it knocked it off , i have heard you only need jungle flasher to flash it again, and yeah i have done a few drives , but first this is the first liteon , im realy wanting to get the key out of the drive
Hi Friends, This is My First Post.I am new to the modding scene.I had an xbox 360 with Liteon 93450c DVD drive.Did not want to screw that so got another xBox 360 that also with the same Jasper MB and LiteOn 93450c.I always used xBox 360 as a Power Source for the DVD Drive. Initially I tried MRA Method on the new one and was able to get the DVD Key.Later on I tried the same on my Old xbox 360 which had the same 93450c Drive and got the Dvd Key.Repaired the Tracks and later spoofed the Keys on 2 BenQ Drives tested and all was fine.
Later on I screwed the DVD Drive of my new xBox as I had Open Tray error.I found that the Dvd Drive Board was fine so kept on my hits and trials on it.I did lots of experiment but as I did not want to take the risk of performing MRA again for my old xBox DVD Drive I tried PMT Hack and I was successful.
I would suggest to try using the PMT Hack Method which is the easiest why to get the Keys off a Liteon 93450c without cutting or soldering the Tracks as required in MRA Hack.
Get a Spare DVD Power Cable from any Shop who have few spare RROD xbox in stock.May be you can buy one such RROD xbox and later use it to Power xbox DVD Drive while modding.The toughest part was to create a Homemade PMT Probe and I got gr8 help from Hacking Jungle site and later found it was simple to create. You only need to fit a switch on 3.3 v Line which is in Pin 6 of the DVD Power cable and attach another wire on the Gnd Line which is on Pin 5 to which you can attach a Seweing needle and probe MPX01.[ Adding an LED helps a lot.Attach the +ve end of the LED on +3.3 v Line and negative on the Gnd wire ].Once the keys are saved the trickiest part is to get into vendor mode.[ By clicking on Intro / Device ID button I could not get the 93450c in vendor mode unless I have the MRA Setup done ].So, the easiest way to get the Drive in Vendor Mode once you have the keys is to click on Liteon Erase -> First MsgBox Click Yes. Second Msg before clicking on Yes switch off the 3.3 v line. Then Click Yes. After 2 or 3 dots appear switch on the 3.3 v line [Plz Note : Timing is very important to switch on the Drive viz. Turn +3.3 v Switch ON ] and it will be in vendor mode after 2-3 seconds. If you see dots moving for more than 5-7 seconds then it will fail to put the drive in vendor mode.So if that happens Switch off xbox 360. Close Jungle flasher . Restart xbox 360 ( or Turn off the +3.3 v Switch and then Turn it on) and open Jungle Flasher and then try LiteOn Erase again.Once the Drive comes in Vendor Mode you can switch to Firmware32 tab and load Source firmware (If the Dummy.bin was saved ) or use the option to Auto Load firmware if extracted the keys using PMT and select ixtreme 1.9 Firmware under Target Firmware-> Click Spoof Source to Target -> You will see DVD key gets copied over ... Goto MTKFlash32 and click on write. Job Done !

You don't need to attach the sewing needle to anything, just plain mass. Can be the Xbox 360 metal cage (I did that) or a metal part of your computer.
Also the easiest way to get the drive into vendor mode is by starting the drive in half tray open, then just klick PhatKey (don't klick away the next message yet), then switch off the drive, probe MPX01, klick ok in JF and switch on the drive. Rest is standard procedure.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
