verbatim 6x?

I was thinking about picking up some verbatim from best buy but the media there says "verbatim dvd r dl 6x" if i remember right everyone used to say get only 2.4x...

is there something bad with 6x? and if 6x works do i burn it at 6x or 2.4x speed in imgburnimgburn?

i used search but only finding topics saying burn with 2.4x.

well i brought 50 verbs 8x full face for £55 burned a few games at 8x and all work perfect
so i suppose 6x will be fine

If by "full face" you mean printable, those are the only ones I use. They work great.
