Hi looking for some advice, solution, explanation...
I have X360 backups of Assassins Creed 2, Red Faction on Verbatims 8x (no printable) Disc ID: MKM-003-00.
The xbox has an hitachi with v1.4 If i remember right, and these backups work flawlessly.
I've recently been given some Verbatims 8x Disc ID: MKM-003-00 but full face printable and burned Mass Effect 2 and Just Cause 2, the problem is when i put them in the xbox i have to eject them multiple times till the xbox decides to read them???
all the discs have been burned using the same Lite-on LH20A1S drive & XBC 2.9 Build 0306
Do you smoke cigarettes? Even if not, you might want to take your Hitachi apart and clean the lens. I just had this happen to me, and I haven't had a read error since I've cleaned it. Don't get me wrong, the Hitachis are crappy drives and usually this is a sign of the lens going bad. It's just a suggestion. Good Luck.

No im not a smoker. I get your point about cleaning the lens but why would the non printables still work flawlessly and full face printable verbatims not??
