I have the warfare 2 edition 360. Mfg date nov 09. Is this drive moddable /w the latest firmware? I dont even know what drive this 360 comes with

it's probably a liteon 9 or 8 v2 series drive which requires soldering

No soldering required. I just got the Vampire add-on or you can build your own. But you do have to cut 2 small traces then you can use a trace repair pen fix your cut traces.
