I´m so confused, what do all these mean

-Do I have to update my 360 to wave 5-6 compatable on stock firmware to play the newer games?

-Where can I get these updates, without actually lending or buying wave 5-6 games?

-What is wave 4,5,6...?

-Will wave 5 and 6 games work on ixtreme 1.6 with updates previously installed or do I have to update to LT?

Also, is LT flash proceadure same as 1.6?

If you are on lt then you don't need to worry about waves, and yes you can update with backups ;)
