What device to people use to send or copy files from memory units and HDDs?

And what software is the best?

You can't unless you open up your xbox hdd and plug it in to your motherboard. Then I believe windows might ask you to format your hdd. Evan then I don't think you can copy anything. So if i were you I wouldn't do it just wait for some home-brew to come how till then I'm not sure what you can do :-? Maybe i am wrong in the things said a both because i haven't done it myself but i believe I'm right.

I believe you could use a HDD adapter which can be bought from Team Xecuter. It also comes with the Connectivity Kit 3 Pro.

Remove it from the enclosure and hook it up to your PC using SATA connectors. Xplorer360 and Xport are the most used.
