I am still running an old firmware and the old dash. I am planning to upgrade, but don't have the time atm.

I patched Bulletstorm to wave 2 and insterted it. It needs to update.

What happens if I update? Do I need to change the custom firmware or something before the update?

Will I not be able to play the games then?

are you on the LT+1.1 firmware? if you are then you can upgrade it safely and play all your game without any problems

Since I need to downgrade games to wave 2 I am not on LT+ 1.1. I have very old firmware.

eebeejay - I dont think it is JTAG-able. Unless we can JTAG older consoles nowadays. Because my dash isnt old enough. When JTAG came I checked and I had updated just barely after the mark.

Started to update with Bulletstorm. It gave me the new dash. But then still wanted to update. After that it tells me that I need to clean the disc. The disc was perfect.

Burned another copy just incase, still can't play. Can't update because the disc is unreadable.

Yes, as I already told. It checked when JTAG came out, it was older. I updated it after september 2009 (or whatever).

Anyway, I think the problem with Bulletstorm is the fact that if I want to downgrade it to wave 2 then I must delete the update part, because I need to untick "Keep system update". Therefore it deletes the update and my 360 can't actually update. I guess I have to put on new firmware and then just play the wave 10 version.
