i just got rid of my ps2, so i want a xbox 360 for first person shooter. i dont play online. just console only, what is mod

i'm pretty sure mod is short for modified.

you can mod a controller's appearance or button timing. same thing with modding the 360 case and painting it.

generally when people say modded 360 though they're referring to the firmware on the drive. with modded firmware you can play backups or burnt games on your 360. just a heads up though that if you mod your 360 you are running a great risk in getting banned from xbox live.

If your not going to play online. Go ahead and get a mod so you can play burnt games

But I really wouldnt go online with a mod, you would get banned (98 percent chance)

I cant go online, im modded. plus I made the stupid mistake of playing a game before its release. Ah well. No sense in whinging. Heh

But yeah, Mod if only offline, dont mod for online
