Hi ive just bought a used xbox360 and want to flash it myself but dont know what equipment i need.
I have a laptop advent 9617 and a ei systems desktop.
i know that the firmware is depending on my xbox drive,ive read somewhere that a sata cable has to connect to my pc motherboard,is there a way that i can use a usb connector on my pc as i dont know how id open my pc to get to the motherboard

please could you recommend some sites to get the equipment from ?

Sofia, you need to read The Ultimate Sticky. It has everything in it you will need to know, except that since you have a laptop, you'll need to get one of these, or get it here.

But definitely read that Ultimate Sticky.

now i remember that thing. couldn't get it to work as banannas were too ripe. too mushie, not solid.
