I know the first thing ill have to do is to flash my xbox 360, would someone tell me the rest? I would appreciate both detailed and not so detailed answers, because i've been trying to figure this out entirely for some time now, and I would REALLY appreciate help :P
I've not had a console banned yet, although I have flagged one myself when AP2.5 first appeared, before anyone knew what it was. I do agree with chriswhit though. Assume you'll be banned at some point and that's a better way to look at it.
There's loads of guides out there though, so all you need to do is: -
1. Identify your 360 drive type.
2. Search out a guide that tells you the method to flash it.
3. Get the latest firmware and flash it.
4. Make sure your games are 100% patched correctly before you play them.
5. Keep up to date with the latest firmware and AP2.5 patches if any are released.
If you do that, you're minimising the risks and being as safe as you can, but you can never be 100% safe as MS will always find new ways of catching people out.
Oh yeah, and when a new 360 dashboard update comes out, don't install it until you've done some research cos they often contain new anti-piracy measures such as updates to AP2.5 or whatever, so always "look before you leap" as they say.
