My Microsoft head set just broke and I am in need of a new one. I have looked at the Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 and I decided I do not really need to hear the game through the headset since I have such a good home theater system. I am looking for a comfortable quality mic for between 10-35$ if it worth the extra money I will buy it. I have read that the wireless headsets don't seem to have long battery life any suggestions?

you can buy headsets on ebay for $3-5. i have also heard bad things about the wireless headsets

I was looking for something a little more quality then the ones on ebay, they are almost the same as the one's Microsoft make.

The wireless headset is far superior to the wired headset as far as sound quality and build quality. I would recommend it. My battery in my headset still lasts about 3 days of heavy gaming and that's with the headset being about 2 years old now.
