Hey guys,
i would appreciate your help with this as I am new to xbox chipping and since there is so much information out there, I am not sure who to trust.
I have quite an old xbox 360 (bought in 2009). I would like to get it chipped so I can copy games and play them.
What is the best way to do this?
Please get back to me.
Thanks in advanced for your help!

There is no chipping.
There is however, flashing.
Flash the DVD's firmware from stock to iXtreme to enable backup reading.

Thanks eebeejay. What are the tools required to burn games and flash them? Also is there an online tool to "stealth" the games before playing them online?
Any other issues I should be aware of before sttarting to play online so that I don't get banned?
Thanks

The process:
Using Jungle Flasher, flash your Xbox 360 DVD drive with the latest iXtreme firmware, to enable backup ISO reading.
However you get your game ISO doesn't matter (rip or d/l), but once you have it, run it through ABGX360 to make sure it's structured correctly, patched correctly, and have a correct .dvd file to go with it.
Using ImgBurn (the choice of most) or CloneCD, burn the .dvd file (NOT the ISO).
That's just the overall process. You need to read the tutorials for any of the programs that you don't understand.

my thoughts are get the xbox flashed by a company (google xbox flash). and learn how to get games and burn them yourself. later on down the line work out how to flash the xbox. That's what i did. it meets the problem halfway. a flash is about £30 if you send it off or less if know someone local.
