Is the silver kind the one that would come on a new unit and the other kind that looks green and white comes on a refurb?

Or does it go by the time of manufacture?

Can someone clear this up for me please

Usually it was just the silver one that came on all the systems, but these days, they are using the paper looking ones when you get a refurb or buy new.

Also I do think they may have used them since the silver ones you could peel off carefully, whereas the paper one may be a little more difficult.

stickers don't matter. They don't care which sticker is on the xbox when you send it in.
