that you put on your 360 and are able to flash your drive by connecting to a sata port that is on the device you install. I'm looking for it right now but can't think of its name

yes i know he is correct, but you do need to open your console anyways just to connect that hunk of junk. Its just a gimmick for noobs you still need to know how to flash firmware. Witch is the hardest part i can open up a 360 case in less than 2 min without a mark on the thing. so the only thing that thing does is take away the easiest part of flashing a console anyways.

Miketrev you are correct, the Xecuter Blaster 360 is what i was thinking of, i'm not much of a 360 modder myself, i had to pay $60 originally and now its $30 for an update. I was looking to cut down on on my expenses alittle. I'm more of a psp modder myself. As for Manu i changed my response, thanks for the help.

Glad i could help ;)

dude read what i wrote i did infact help you. i told you that the blaster is useless. you want to save your cost? Than why would you spend money on that hunk of junk and still have to take your 360 to a modder cause you dont know how to flash. its signifigance is as releveant to a automatic can opener. you still wont be able to flash without reading and learning and if you have done that than you wont need that thing anyways. but thanks for calling me a jerk.

manu07, i did and do appologize for my response to you, i read alot on here and some are responses are very unpleasant. I do appologize again, maybe it was the star trek picture that set me over. You're correct i did email my modder and it sounds like even the blaster takes a bit more cpu and 360 understanding that i don't currently have. You're not a jerk you're a $$ saver

That "hunk of junk" is actually a handy device if it's used the way my son uses his. I've taught him to rip his own games. Flip the switch and it's connected to his PC for ripping. Flip back and it's in normal mode for playing games.
It's not worth it's retail price, though. I got it for 17 bucks (ebay).

First off, I DO read before posting.
Second, miketrev identified the device that smacko was thinking of, and that's when YOU pointed out that it's a "useless" device".
Thirdly, I said NOTHING of flashing. I simply chimed in on one way the device can be useful (above in red).
Forth, in smacko's 2nd post, he asks "With this will i be able to flash my 360 without opening it up everytime i need an update." The answer is/should've been "yes".
So maybe it's YOU who should read next time, know-it-all.
