I haven't flashed my console for a good year or so - last time I looked on here you needed a new DVD burner? Is that still the case?

My flashed console is banned - must have screwed up before so not a major issue if I lose functionality?

Also - I have a old flashed BenQ in the cupboard I think flashed 4-5 years ago with a old 1.5.1 firmware with all the keys. I've never actually used it. Anything I can do with this?

Look into reset glitch hack RGH,it's a hard mod that allows same thing as jtag'ing your console is a great candidate & i would do it without hesitation you'll also be able to play online with LiNKS.

possibly may need a new burner if yours isn't compatible to burn the xdg3 or is it xgd3 meh either one

burnermax payload tool is what can be used if you don't have a liteon 24b3,tho i think there's a pioneer that can be used in the 24b3's place

that spare drive could be kept as a backup or converted to an 0800 drive to rip 360 games especially the 8gb ones

yeah you must have been hit by the ban wave with about half the planet @ 1.6.1. If you plan to play any new games it will either have to be from original or you will need to get reflashed or better yet since you can't go online, rgh hack as mentioned up above
