What type of Mod?

Greetings all,

I bought a modded Xbox about 6 months ago. For the first few months I could easily play burned games with no problems. A few weeks ago I tried playing a burned Bullet Storm disk, but instead of playing, I would just go to the "play DVD" screen, the same happened when I tried playing a burned Dragon Age Two disk. This leads me to the conclusion that whatever MOD I had in my xbox needs to be updated to play the newer games.

I've tried updating to the new "Knect" dashboard, with no luck...All my previously burned games still work however.

So my question is this: How do I find out what type of Mod my Xbox has, and how would I go about updating it so I can play the newer games.

Firmware update on the drive is what you have. Mod chips are the past.

Nope. It's still iXtreme.

What makes you think that the firmware is not iXtreme anymore?
