Whats the difference between LT 1.1 and 1.2 ?

I have an xbox flashed with LT 1.1 and I was wondering if it was necessary to upgrade to 1.2 before I use it. It has been sitting in the closet since it got flashed a few months ago. I have a Benq drive in there now and the original drive was a Liteon 7x.
