i noticed that on every 360 disc, when opened, it contains a dir titled "$SystemUpdate", with a file titled "su20076000_00000000"
anyone know what that is for, is for stealth patches and the sort, is that the file that checks if updates are available when you connect to live
heres a pic

The "$SystemUpdate" folder contains the (drumroll) ..................................................... System Update.
i.e. in case you don't have Xbox Live, the disc will update your console to NXE.

theres a program called xiso that says it extracts 360 iso's, not sure if it means just extracting it from a drive (looks like what they might be doing in screenshots) or if you can actually extract the files form the disk. suppose its worth a shot
360 Benq ixtreme 1.6, Talismoon Whispermax (blue), custom window, black metallic paint, western digital 120gb hard drive
Wii (launch console) 3.3 Twilight Hack wiigator .3g
fat PSP 3.51 m33-7
DS (original blue) g6 lite flash kit w/passcard

i can extract all the files i want but i dont know how to pack them all back up into a iso to be read in a 360

ok... well heres the story. i play alot of gta iv, i even had a modded version. but as of 09/02 rockstar released a patch that once downloaded disables our modded disc. so theres been talk of how to get around the patch. one way that was discussed was to delete the system update folder in the iso, so that when the disc is loaded it doesnt check live for updates, and clear the update from the 360 HDD. some claim this works, but ofcourse wont explain how. which i understand. now before i get flamed for wanting to mod my gta, i understand tht it could lead to a ban, and that its cheating...but whats a lil cheating amongst thieves(maybe not everyone, but alot). plus im a freemoder, i dont do ranked
