not like it matters since they don't do jack. TeamX has a kit you can buy that has everything and it's a proper xclamp (whichs is dump anyway). Walmart also sells the pads or a hardware store. Both waste of gas and time.

I think they are called Thermal Pads or Thermal Cooling Pads. You can find them on ebay. But like they said, they don't do much... I don't have any on my 360 and I play 6+ at a time and it runs fine. (All this after the X-Clamp Fix w/Heat Gun).

when i do the heatgun thing instead of that bubbled thick plastic
could i use a thick black trash bag r bags then the foil wraped over that n the tape
im tryin 2 do all three fixes whille im inside
so thats y the Thermal Pads or Thermal Cooling Pads
but if i cant find them r just dont feel like getting them ill skip it
i wouldnt mind a reball miketrev
but cant find nobody yet in stl 2 do it

also dont fell safe sending it out of stlouis

instead of pads i think im goin 2 use washers n Thermal paste r compound for all 6 chips
4 on bottom 2 on top con. total of 6 chips on the mobo that rod fixes have

Dont bother with using washers on the RAM chips, wont do any good.
Try a heat gun reflow. I use toilet paper under tin foil to cover the caps an such when I do my heat gun reflows, it does the trick nicely. 2 minutes on the under side and 4 minutes on top on a high setting
