Which firmware on banned 360 for Wave 4 (Samsung)

Hi all,

Got banned earlier in the week, decided to stay offline and play single player games only (use my PS3 for online gaming).

Not sure which firmware version I have but the activate.iso boot disk fails to work and I tried a Wave 4 game (Dragon Age) which just says play dvd. All other Wave 3 games have worked fine upto this point.

My question is now that I don't intend to connect this up ever again to xbox live, which firmware can I load on my Samsung drive that will play all waves and beyond? I have read somewhere that loading 1.4 will do the trick, somewhere else saying 1.51 is the way to go. If someone could confirm the exact release I need that would be great so I can use Jungleflasher on my 360 this weekend.

1.51 is only for Hitachi Drives (can read wave 4 games without boot disk). 1.6 for Lite-ons can read wave 4 games with the boot disk only and 1.61 is only for BenQ and Samsung. 1.61 can read wave 4 games without the boot disk.

Xtreme 5.3 for samsung is the best for a banned console. It will boot any backup with any video partition.

I had a BenQ flashed with 1.61 that was banned last night. Flashed back to 1.41 Non-stealthed. With Samsung xtreme5.3 would be the best.

Can you confirm that I can use jungleflasher with the 5.3 firmware? I've seen some confusing guides talking about other methods but I'd rather use jungleflasher if I can because thats how I did it first time.
