I have one of these but lost the LEDs. My question is, can I go out and buy generic LEDs and put them in? Or are the LEDs that come with the pack the only ones compatible?

I bought the whisper talismoon. I had originally had red leds with my black shell i bought. But then I soldered in green ones. You can replace them. Just make sure to read up on soldering and the ratings of the leds so you dont overload it, or make sure to use the same voltage as they have in there, which i think if i remember is 3.3V. This fan is junk. I have bought them and found that modding your stock fan actually gives you more airflow. As for the lights, you can do whatever you want if you have solder skills.
