so many people complain that verbatims cost too much. a pack of 50 verbatims for the same price as one game from the store. I just don't get it.

should be moved to safety valve.if i paid for a 50pack of verbatims and got write errors I'd be really annoyed.I buy the cheapest blanks because i know there cheap and easily replaced and if i get a few write error its not the end of the world.If i paid for the most expensive brand of something and got problems with it I'd be extremely angry.

People only say Verbatims are expensive relative to other media. I use Verbatims because I can trust them. I always get good burns with them. Other media may also put more stress on the laser and reduce the lifespan of the dvd drive. Though if you install most games to the HD, you shouldn't have a problem with other media in that regard. Regardless, this thread is not informative.

well most of us on this forum are gamers, who play a LOT of games. I myself go through about a game a week if not more. I play them when they are new. that's about 60 bucks a week or 3 grand a year. most of us cant afford that. so that's the end result of WHY we do what we do. my original post is about people feeling that $1.25 is too much to pay for the best disc available to put a 60 dollar game on, that will give them less trouble and a long reliable life, then yhey b!tch and gripe about the problem they encounter because of that cheap media. so you my friend are the friendly neighborhood moron.
