The drive is brand new just read the firmware its a 83850C v1 so no fancy trick other than half open used. I used the xbox as the power source and unplugged as in the jungleflasher tutorial but yet the drive always wants to be ejected. When open it says opening and when closing it says closing but then opening again never saying closed tray or open tray and always being ejected. When turing off it even ejects before powering off. Seems to me like mother board is confused from doing the half open tray trick? any help

Turn on XBOX 360 and start Jungle Flasher
Click LO83info
Press eject button
Unplug the power cable from back of DVD drive
Push tray half way in
Plug the power cable back in the DVD drive

Repeat steps as necessary

I know how to do it but and did but now it's fucked. Can't fix it kinda weird actually how this would ruin the drive just from reading this way must be on motherboard side.
