Im on these forums alot but haven't posted anything, and just signed up. Ok heres the scoop, i am pissed because i recently purchased a PCI SATA card getting prepared to flash my xbox, well right after i order the thing i figure theres this big epidemic going on and everyone is getting banned.
So this thread was basically created just to get some insight to what you guys think or know, will there be a new firmware that will bypass this or will this whole banhammer thing just blow over?

Not everyone has been banned. Use the fourm and posts to guide you on what and what not to do. The firmware is undetectable. As long as you NEVER play games early. And ALWAYS verify your backups, you should be okay.

yea, the way around it is not to flash the console. sounds like an easy way to me.

alright i just saw that whole thread full of worried people and over half were banned. Im guessing that each of them made simple mistakes that Ms caught. well i have 2 consoles so ill give it a shot.

I agree with wabashman, there is no way to avoid, many people have checked all their games and haven't played before release dates and still been banned, it'll get everyone sooner or later. Hopefully c4eva will figure something out though.

just my 2 cents,,,everyone that has been banned in my area one on one copy and 1.6 firmware,,no agbx,,im still not banned 1.6 firmware ,,dont know what they are looking for,,cheers,,sorry for the spelling,,rye and coke is very good right know,,cheers
