How come when I use Wxripper...I get an error at Copy Sections. When I save my layout and edit it, I changed all my C's to a D (Copy to Dummy) and When I made the dump, it was 7.5 gb(appropriate size of a game). This is weird because when I followed the tutorials and fixed the first three lines in the layout (made them C to Ds) my dump ended up being 300 mb. I get errors in the other sections. Why is this happening?

When I use the Image File I created and put it in Abgx360 or Wx360..it doesn't detect it as a xbox 360 iso. Why? Is it because I'm using an internal DVD Drive/Burner?

Btw does the hotswapping have to be done in a Dual Layer Burner?

If anyone can help me or even attempt, I will give rep.

Thanks in advance

peace.

In order to rip games you need a Kreon or 0800 drive. Are you using one of those or just a regular DVD drive?

I'm pretty sure you don't need a kreon drive. This is the second option of making backups of games. I don't think thats the problem. I'll try it on another pc and I'll come back with results. Do you guys have this problem? Btw I use the emergency pin method of opening my drive instead of opening my dvd drive up.

Yes, there is another option, I believe. It involves opening the drive, etc. However, I have friends that have tried this method without success.

My guess would be that the error lies within the methodology, and not the software or the game itself.

Thanks for replying dude

I'm sure that my method is correct.

1. Put DVD in -Lord of The Rings ROTK/Ironman

2. Stop Drive

3. Replace Disc With Xbox 360 Game.

4. Spin Drive

5. Find Magic Number

And I'm following this guide

http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=539922

I have no Clue what my error is. Maybe I should try opening my external hard drive from the top...But I doubt it could be opened.

Why do I get errors.

Hopefully Someone else can also help me out

Peace.

6. Dump Game
