i just installed windows 7 and xbc 2.9 does not work. i tried to redownload and install but still no luck? any ideas

you need to install v2.3 first before you can install 2.9

You need to install this http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/sup...me=MSCOMCTL.OCX which is also part of this http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/libraryfiles.exe to get it to work on win 7. I used the exe to install it. It works for me on win 7 x64.

Just need to download the MSCOMCTL.OCX and put it in your C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder.
