XBOX360 games reading as DVD

Can someone assist if they have backed up a game, but is reading as a DVD?
Other backed up games work fine.

A solution i have read on the net was to use a "one time boot" disc, but that doesnt seemed to have helped.

Has any one came across this problem/solution before?

Your firmware on your 360's drive is old and outdated. You probably have ixtreme 1.6 or 1.61. With the new firmware, "LT+", or just LT for samsung drives, you don't need a "one time boot" cd. I don't believe that method works with M$'s new dashboard anyhow. Either flash your 360 with the latest firmware, or pay someone to do it for you if you don't know how. That's the best advice I could give you. Good Luck!
