hello i know this most likly has been asked before, but i could not find anything.

i want to make a backup of conkers live and reloaded that will play on my ixtreme 1.51 (will update to 1.6 if needed). my current copy freezes at points. i thought my first option would to just download the game and dump the secuity sectors from my original and insert to downloaded version. or maybe just backup my original and burn to better media. can i use xbox backup creator and an sh-di62 drive (there is an option to backup xbox 1 game but dont know if it will work) to do this, if not what can i do thanks.

ps. read the tut on http://360mods.net/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=29\ but dont want to all of that if i dont need to. :)

Youz can of course make a backup of your original with any
apropriate equipment. That means you need a proper DVD drive
and a software. The drive you have selected is the wrong
choice. Even with the Kreon v1.0 firmware patch this drivetype
does *NOT* support fast error skipping which is absolutely
essential on making a backup from an XBOX1 original disk.
Therfor get a 162C model. That type also supports fast error
skipping to do XBOX1 backups properly.

As software you can use any tool that supports making backups
of XBOX1 originals. I used hektosoft hektograph to make a
working Backup of my XBOX1 original disks for daily use.
That way I kept my original disk out of my childrens reach
so that they had no chance to scratch them.
