I all of a sudden had the urge to play Halo 1 & 2 again after plaining ODST and Halo 3 on live with friends recently. Anyway, here's the problem, whenever I try to play them, or any xbox original game for that matter, it won't load up in my console. I've never had a problem trying to play them before, but now I have. I have recently upgraded my HDD which was originally and OEM 60gb HDD to a 120gb WD HDD. I've tried installing the compatability update of Microsoft's website with no joy, it just says something about me having an update to support xbox original games or something.
When Xbox1 games first got released onto live marketplace, I bought Halo 1 as I misplaced my disk and that doesn't work either. So what I'm saying is ABSOLUTELY NO xbox original games are working on my console, either from the HDD or disk. It recognises it and when I click "play x" it says "Game could not start please download again, even off a disk. Please bare in mind that this console is not modified in anyway, beside having a custom HDD.
Anybody else come across this? o.0 I googled it but found nout... >.< Could it be the new HDD I put on it? Oh, and just to clarify, when I put the new HDD on, I first formatted it with the console then used a migration kit to transfer all my data over.
