Hi. I'm in somewhat of a rush as I'm using someone's computer. I just want to know which is the best Xbox 360 drive to buy and use for backups. I read at llama.com that the H943a is the hardest to brick, but doesn't have AP2.5 support. I don't know if that matters when backing them up, so please let me know which is best. I'm currently using a Kreon v1.0.
I'm also looking for info and advice pertaining to Cygnos v2 Rev F & Xecuter NAND-X & JTAG Kit vs just doing it manually. I read that Cygnos requires some games to be patched in order to work, NAND-X & JTAG Kit can't be used on Live but is based on the original something or another which Cygnos isn't. My current system isn't JTAG-able, however, I'm buying another one soon and it will be. I just want to know which to go with. I've read over the two, and they sound a lot alike. I would just like a good comparison, which I haven't found.
Also, media has changed a lot lately so I don't know what's good and what's not. I want to buy some DVD+R & DVD+R DL white inkjet (preferably) hub printable media. I read that some Verbs are good and others aren't. Most sites don't list media codes, so any help for the sure thing would be nice. I used DVD5 for my PS2. I need to re-backup all of my games as I just used so old memorex I had lying around.

I found a few BenQ VAD6038 ranging from $28.10 (DealExtreme.com) to $30 (Various sites). Is that a good price? I haven't had much time to look around as to having to do trace cuts, etc but I will figure that out before it gets here. I'm completely new to modding, minus the FMCB stuff I did on my PS2; which I know very little about as well. I'm just one of those people that jumps in rather than taking a dip. So I'm learning a lot real fast.
I know Verbs are A+ on +R DL's & TY's for -R. I just don't like to use media I can't book-type to DVD-ROM. I know to get the Verbs that are from Singapore though. I don't know what Land-X is though. I did a google search on my phone for the Land-X but just got odd stuff that didn't pertain to the 360. Thank you for you time, as well as the advice. Will get back to you when I can. I'm working on trying to figure out how to tether my phone with out having to pay for PAM. Looking into PDANET.
