untill recently i thought if you played backup games online you would get banned. Hence i have 2 xbox 360s, an elite which is flashed and a arcade which isent. The games ive wanted to play online such as fifa and halo i played the originals online and only ever played back ups offline.
I have recently learnt that if you stealth games, you can play backups and this is safe?? is this true??
If so, is it %100 safe. To a certain extent because i own 2 xboxs it would not matter if the elite got banned, however i understnad that its the user account, not the console which is banned. is this true also?
i only have one hard drive at the minuete and swap between the consoles. if the 360 got banned would it be the flashed dvd drive its self, the actual console or the harddrive that would be banned.
I used to be up on things like this, but having just finished Uni and not really played many games for the last 3 years im trying to get back to grips with things.
i understand how waves have impacted the xbox 360 scene recently, but if someone could provide me with an uptodate guide to setting the settings in abgx that would be helpfull too, like i say not really had much time to play games last few years with uni work so never really botherd trying to keep up on things. feel a bit lost now lol
nothing is 100 percent safe, but it is as close as it can get at the moment, you need to have the newest firmware, LT plus 1.1, using this and abgx to patch the games will get you as close to that 100 percent as possible, the console is what gets banned in most cases, hope that answered all.
ive just had the console updated to lt plus 1 or 1.1, i had it done before in januray. is there a way to find out what version you have???
also if the console is band, dose that mean i could still use my account on another console. I have one account with xbox live, but only one hard drive, so when playing online i put it in the arcade and when playing off in the elite.
the reason i ask is i also have sky player on my elite and dont want my account to be band, if this was the case i would probally stick to buying the games i want to play online.

anyone?? i dont want to loose my sky player if i get banned playing online. if its just the console, i have nothing to loose becuase i play my originals online on my other xbox and im not playing my backups due to fear of getting banned.
when a game is patched with abgx, if all the writing is green dose this mean its patched??? i never download anything, it just dose checks so im not sure if its actually patching the games.
very noob questions i know, but help very much appreciated
