Okay today I purchased a "pre-modded" Xbox 360 (Jasper) [Modchip] , and I heard that once I go on XBL my console will get banned. I searched around the forum and found iXtreme LT firmware can prevent banning. So my question is: " Do I really have to flash my DvD drive to prevent XBL banning, or can go on XBL with genuine games/ 1:1 backups? "
JUST TO MAKE THIS CLEAR, MY CONSOLE IS NOT BANNED YET
I'm sure this question has been answered many times but it would be much obliged once more :)

The answer is as always;
There is no certainty to banning. Some people take all the necessary precautions and still get caught whilst some people can get away with it with unstealthed games and drives.

Every console whether flashed or mod-chipped runs the risk of being banned.
I've used an NME modchipped console back in the day, but I sold it and and bought two stock consoles, and flashed them both (2-for-1 deal). I've never been banned with a flashed console (close to 3 years).
