hi all my fellow gamers, heres the problem i went to go switch on my xbox yesterday and there was no video but there was sound!, so i thought maybe it was the Av cable, so i burrowed my neighbours, but still the same story, so i thought it might be the TV, so i tried my sisters but it was still the same story!, I know that i have to push it in firmly into the socket of the xbox and the tv i did that but it still doesn't produce any video :( has anybody else had this problem? and how did you over come it?

this is the first stages of the RROD.... you have broken solder joints under your GPU.. but its not at that stage yet where its going to red ring. In any case, you need to reflow your GPU in order to get video back.
Check wooly's guide on how to use a heatgun which works great. Of course you'll have to fully open your xbox, and disassemble everything to do that....
Obviously if your xbox is still in warranty, contact xbox support, and find out if they'll fix it first before opening it up.
I have indeed fixed the no video/working audio/green lights issue with the heatgun and x-clamp replacement. Easy as pie and proved to be quite a reliable system afterwards, probably because it wasnt allowed to break further and fully RRoD. Tutorial in sig
2 red lights is overheating. My guess is one of your heatsinks isnt making good contact with the chip. You can use the secondary error code to figure out which one.
Remove the heatsinks and make sure you have a good imprint of the thermal paste on them (also be sure not to use a ton of thermal paste). Be sure that the screws are screwed in evenly in each hole. For example: one has 3 threads showing above the heatsink and the opposite corner only has 1 thread showing...unscrew the one and tighten the other so they both have 2 threads showing. Lastly make sure you're using 10mm long screws and 2 1mm washers between motherboard and heatsink.
