When I burn back ups of my xbox 360 games and play them on my flashed console, they run fine, but when I exit to the dashboard it seems to have a problem reading the disc and stays on a blank screen while the drive attempts to read it. If I open the tray it reverts back to the dash immediatly.
This does not happen with every backup I burn, but the majority of them seem to have this problem.
I have burned using both Memorex DL's and Infiniti DL's, using both IMG Burn and Clone CD.
Could this problem be with the discs I am using or my burner? Or is the problem with the 360 disc drive itself?
It'll be a case of trial & error,personally i'd lean towards a disc issue however start with an original game disc if it works as it should when exiting that discounts the dvd drive,leaving disc media or burner so get a hold of some verbs from singapore & see how it goes,use clonecd to burn (i've never used imgburn but have burnt a substantial amount of games with nothing but clonecd with no failures in the last 5 years & all discs still work)

Thanks for the reply. I've never had this issue with an original game disc. I tested it by exiting to the dashboard over and over again with an original disc and I had no problems so i'm assuming its the burner or disc media. I'll try some verbs and see how that goes. Hope it isnt my burner.. haha

my question would be what kind of games are you burning, and did you run them through abgx and patch them with the proper ap2.5 patches? if it goes to black screen and then after some time back to the dashboard, either your firmware could be old, or your games are not patched correctly.that would be my theory.

I have the newest kinect dash and always run them through abgx before burning. I havent burned any ap2.5 games as of yet.
