i got a 360 and when i turn on the middle light starts blinking and my drive dont work like it stays blinking the whole time but the systems starts up good just drive wont eject. anyone knows whats going on? i have flashed it with benq 1.6 i know i flashed it right ive done millions... and dvd drive is also good because i tested in another 360..
anyone know what to do?

Happened to me once and the cable came partly out of the laser.

It might be Vendor Mode. Did you try to flash your drive?

yes i tried to flash it and i did and now the drive dont work. . like i turn it on and the middle lights automatically starts blinking.. if its in vendor mode how do i take it out of it? windows dont even detect it no more. . since there is like no power to it

Did the flash complete? If it didn't, there isn't any firmware on the drive and that is why the light is blinking.

yes the flash completed . . it was working all until after the flash but if it was a bad flash how do i flash it again? because windows wont recognize it anymore and i did it with jungleflasher and its a benq

I flashed my 360 to ixtreme 1.6 today, and I had this same issue. I found out the power cable to the DVD drive got disconnected from the motherboard. Take a look.

i have. I even tried reflashing it but drive wont detect in windows anymore. . i dont know whats going on.... i think its the motherboard. . . idk this started after the flash so idk . .

Try and flash it the old fashioned way using IPREP.
This is usually what I do when I wipe a Benq on accident.

or load it up like you would a lite-on.
It wont read it until it is in vendor mode.

meaning press Unlock BenQ and then Turn your Drive off and on, quickly.

Good advice. I actually used iprep to flash the drive as I had issues with jungle flasher.
