After doing my color organ mod I thought my controller looked kind of boring so I added some LED's to it. Figured I would use the rumble motor for Vcc and ground so the LED's will activate with rumble and blink.
The B isn't very bright (the LED turned going in), however, the LED's are hot glued into the button's. I already ordered some replacement buttons and will make a tutorial when I do it the next time.
It's a pretty straight forward mod, attach wire to LED, put LED in button, glue LED in, attach wire to rumble motor.

not bad, i would like to see them brighter though, and no light for the "B" button? p.s. why dosn't someone come out with clear triggers and do this mod for them as well? i think that would be hot.
There is a light in the "B" button, however, I messed it up. The LED turned sideways on the way in so it is facing the side and doesn't glow very bright unless you hold the controller to the side.
I ordered a new controller housing (comes with buttons) on eBay and am waiting for it to arrive so I can redo it, and hopefully, not mess it up this time.
I am also thinking about figuring out a different Vcc (if the rumble is activated by ground) to make them brighter, or adding a resistor before the rumble motor so it will lose less battery and leave more for the lights.
